Papers, 1880-1920.

Collection consists of manuscripts and typescripts of plays, poems, and short stories by Dollie Radford (née Caroline Maitland). Also includes correspondence, contracts, and diaries of Dollie Radford as well as writings by her husband, Ernest Radford and two daughters, Hester Maitland Radford and Margaret Maitland Radford. Dollie Radford's diaries begin in May 1883, and Ernest Radford's diary records his trip to Italy and his theories of art. Most of Dollie Radford's correspondence is addressed to her daughter, Hester, but other correspondents include D.H. Lawrence, George Bernard Shaw, H.G. Wells, John Masefield, and Ernest Rhys. Also includes holograph poems by John Masefield and Ernest Rhys.

Wells, D.H. Lawrence, Ezra Pound, and Richard Aldington; died on Feb. 7, 1920....
